Ugh. The stomach virus we avoided with Elder Child sure didn’t miss us the second time around with Younger Child. My husband and I both were wiped out on Friday, pretty much leaving our toddler and 5 year old to fend for themselves since we were incapacitated. We joked about leaving a box of cheerios on the floor for them to serve themselves, but then realized we were almost incapable of doing even that, since we were too wiped out!
The frustrating thing is that I missed our meeting of the Modern Quilt Guild, and I also have a quilt I’m really hoping to finish up by Thursday, but even now, 2 days later, I’m still not feeling swell. Hoping that I’ll get some work in today, but also wondering if I should try and nap and just get to feeling better.
