Today’s Practice

After a few weeks of making a new pattern, writing that pattern down, getting all my web stuff in order, and trying to get ready for my QuiltCon classes (I have to cut out HOW many hexagons? It’s not really happened yet, but a girl can dream), I finally got back to practicing on my longarm quilting.  I had been putting it off because I was afraid to see how much my muscles had forgotten in a month.

Spirals need help, but the flowers in the middle turned out ok, I think.  The G.I. Joe fabric from the $1/yd bin is a nice touch, don’t you think?  I bet it would make a good swatch to practice applique or outlining with.
