I will always have enough to fudge.
I managed to fudge the back of the quilt (that was the one I Just finished! and yeah, I really underestimated how much fabric I thought I had in my stash. But I was happy to use up all that orange that I had gotten years ago.). Unfortunately (or fortunately, as it may be), Ben works from home so he has a very good idea of just what gets delivered to our house.
