I have this pattern I’ve been working on that I think looks really cool, with aspects of both improv-looking areas and nice, larger open areas for fun quilting. I’m kind of dying to make it, and think it would be fun for people if they were looking to use up things in their scrap box or stash. It’s easy enough for a beginner, but *looks* complex, which is a nice mix. The catch is that I don’t want to show the pattern because I might just go ahead and publish it, otherwise. Hrm. Thoughts?

I’d be interested! But what exactly is a “sew along”?
Mandy says
I’d post the directions for specific blocks week by week: one week (or month) would be the list of fabric needs and cutting instructions, the next week (or month) would be assembling the different blocks, and then the quilt top, and then the quilting. I’d post my progress and people can work along with me.

Sounds fun!

Would I! Sounds like fun…sign me up! You know I have enough fabric!

sounds fun! let me know…

Will do! I am thinking maybe mid January or February. I have the DS fabric I love, but which I need a project for, and I think this could work out. I never use precuts, but this one would work for precuts and general destashing.
