I am very fortunate to be able to hang out with Nikki of The Girl Who Quilts on pretty much a weekly basis. It’s so incredibly nice to have a quilting friend to kick around ideas with and ask for opinions! How lucky am I that we get to hang out at QuiltCon, too?
I’m linking up to February Challenge with my own goal of being more forward with my work. I have some magazine articles under my belt, and some quilt patterns of my own that I’m going to be offering for sale, and I need to get myself out there, at QuiltCon and at home, both. It’s funny, but even though I am an extrovert, I have a really hard time with walking up to people and hawking my stuff and talking myself up. So that’s my February challenge–to get out there and sell my designs and patterns.
Yay! I love our weekly sewing time! And I know we’ve talked about the design/pattern stuff before. I know all too well how hard it is to talk myself up!
