Y’all. Y’ALL! Yesterday, I spoke with BERNINA of America, and I’m really excited to share with you that I’m going to be a new Ambassador! I bought my first machine last year, a 710, after my old machine had a technical difficulty (a piece broke off and fell out while I was sewing). I’m pretty lucky that I have a dealer down the street, and I was able to test the 710 alongside several other brands over the course of a few hours, and I got hooked.

That’s wonderfu! How does one become an ambassador? I’ve been a lifelong Bernina devotee (although they’re horrendously expensive) and wondered about starting a dealership, or a quilt store with a machine section. I don’t quite have the technical knowledge for it yet though. I have a 580, which I bought last year. Such a step up from the cheap little Singer I started with. Well, it was a gift from my husband, and I couldn’t have pointed to the $7000 machine and told him that was the one I really wanted. But the old machine lives in the car goes to my quilt meets with me. The Bernina gets a ridiculous amount of use and only gives me issues if I sew over pins at high speed. Congratulations again!
